Spiritual Dustbins

Anu’s chatter....

what does not work for me with people even if they are close to me-----
A bickering attitude--- always saying 'how difficult life was for them .How they really really hate it!'The worst is after a while , they focus their attention on-- 'how lucky someone else was in a similar situation or how lucky the person in front of them was for having all the good things of life?' I try and avoid people who get into these ---’God I am so Unhappy chatter mode’ for the most part! 5 minutes with them and you want to run in a different  direction! But I had no answer to why I was doing so?
On the other hand I know a couple of people who make me feel good after talking to them.Even though the talk can veer sometimes from general to  gossip! ( I love ‘good gossiping’ . I am sure everybody does!)I always get a lot of answers to nagging day to day questions after talking to these women , because of which they are much sought after, when I am struggling to get  answers to questions I cannot answer!

The other day I called one friend out of those ‘two’ who happened to be my all time calming agent.
We spoke for a while about life, families, problems with kids, parents  and lastly friends. I leant a new term called -Spiritual dustbins..
According to her there are some people who use others as dustbins.
That was interesting to me....I wanted to know how that was possible?
“When you converse with someone for a while you should end up feeling good but you may not.”
“ Yes ,yes but why?” I asked .
“Because they may use you to unburden their negative emotions .Their talks are full of how bad their life is. Worst they are full of resentment .  I call them spiritual garbages and make you into a dustbin to pour out their negativities to feel good themselves. In the end you feel depleted.”
I agreed with her and got the answer to my that days tingling question about--
‘WHY SOME PEOPLE CANNOT MAKE YOU HAPPY EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE VERY CLOSE TO YOU ?! Is not it amazing? Thank you friend.

Rejection a part of life...

Anu's Chatter...

I was surfing the net and came across this site that has this following news...please check this out...
Best-Sellers Initially Rejected

Rejection is an imperative test of one’s character

Some writers continually submit the same manuscript until it is accepted. Others chose to do a more polished draft before sending it out again. A select few learn from the lessons of submissions, to write a completely new book. What they all have in common is a persistence to never give up on their dream; a dream that has elevated them from writer, to best-selling author.

They have written some of the most critically praised and commercially successful books of all time. In some cases their enormous sales were so consistent that they even kept their publishers afloat.
Yet in spite of this phenomenal success, every single one of these best-selling authors was initially rejected. Literary agents and publishers informed them in an endless stream of rejection letters that nobody would be interested in reading their book.
Here is an extensive collection of the some of the biggest errors of judgement in publishing history.

So when I read this I really, really felt that everybody has a chance..once Ameesh Tripathy had remarked
“ If I can write anyone can write.” So guys I really feel one should dream and dreams do come true!

Perfect Imperfections---

Anu’s chatter......

Sometimes mistakes make my writing good...while writing sometimes I let them be......small i for capital I or an extra word here or there..or just some colloquial words or language that makes it all very beautiful..the thought behind it is allowing the flow to remain as it is.... can make the sentenses  near perfect.. I do not edit them --Like just check this paragraph that went into  very little knife .

Do you want to be rich? Then visualise all the wealth in the world!.!.!. visualise everything that money can buy!.!.!. a private plane, yacht, 100 homes!.!.!. billions of dollars— anything and everything. Accounts running in crores in a Swiss bank. If you cannot, then visualise a Aladdin’s cave!.!.!. with all the wealth in it, and add more to it on your own,” Urvashi joked.
‘Is joking allowed during NLP?’ Ananya thought.
“Do you want the best body? Healthy body? Go all for it. See yourself having a smoky sexy body! The best figure in the world. You want success? Do you want name and fame? Visualise it because it shall be yours.”
Ananya was really feeling funny at this point! She had some doubt ‘How was it pos!.!.!.!?’
“Do not doubt anything,” Urvashi said, and Ananya jumped out of her doubtful thoughts.
“Visualise people asking for your autographs. Pining for you, loving you more than anything in the world!.!.!. Believe that it is all yours!.!.!. that shall happen.”
Funny!.!.!. In the trance, Ananya did not feel any different. She just felt as if she was lying down and listening to someone. She could hear all the instructions clearly. She went about visualising a happy family. In the happy family Alia was there, Marriamma was there, her mom was there, and she herself was there. She played with the baby, enjoyed a warm family time in a cosy home. She saw herself as a great mom.
“Go all about it! Visualise.”

Shocking News

Anu's Chatter.....

I recently read this shocking news clip and my heart is full of sympathy for the parents of this girl....A thought that prevails though that why she did what she did..?

The day after, Monali's death goes unmourned at school

By Prakruti PK, Bangalore Mirror Bureau | Jan 21, 2015, 07.18 AM IST

The student, among the top five in her Std X class, found the ignominy too much to bear. A statement by school said she had been counselled a `few times'

Barely 24 hours after Monali Mahala, the tenth standard student at National Public School in HSR Layout jumped from her high-rise apartment on Monday, the atmosphere in the school appeared eerily calm and normal. She committed suicide after reportedly being suspended for her friendship with a male student.

There was no holiday declared to mourn the loss of a student, and there was reportedly no prayer service for the victim and her family either. When BM visited the school around 2.45 pm, the behaviour of the staff members - who refused to be identified - was what could be dubbed perfunctory, even borderline cold-hearted.

When this correspondent sought to meet principal, Chitra Rao, for the school's version of the incident, she declined the request. Instead, a staff member handed over an unsigned statement on behalf of the school.

"We mourn the sudden and tragic loss of a young life and a member of the student body. May her soul rest in peace. At this time of deep distress, we offer our heartfelt condolences to the near and dear ones and pray to the Almighty to give them the strength to endure their grief and pain. As a community of students, parents, and teach ers, we join together to offer our support to the family members in these troubled times," read the statement.

It went on to say that Monali shared a good rapport with her teachers, and mentioned that she had been counselled a few times earlier, but "as a normal practice, parents are informed and Monali was sent home along with her mother after school." The declaration added that the child's parents were asked to have a family discussion and counselling session at home, as she needed advice and guidance. Meanwhile, the victim's father, Dr Bijoy Kumar Mahala, a reputed cardiologist at Narayana Hrudayalaya, was accompanied by his wife and relatives to Srirangapatna on Tuesday where the family conducted Monali's last rites.

Speaking to Bangalore Mirror, a member of the family's first-circle gave a blowby-blow account of what could have prompted the girl to take the extreme step."Monali's mother received a call from the school on Monday afternoon informing her to meet the principal and to come pick up her child. When she went to the principal's chamber, she was given a dressing-down and humiliated in front of Monali over the latter's alleged friendship with a male student. She was then handed two official letters and the two left for home," the source said. The boy and Monali are family friends.

Of the two letters, one was an order for suspension bearing the subject line `serious disciplinary misdemeanour', and it stated: "Monali Mahala, a student of class X, is hereby suspended for a day and a half on disciplinary grounds over objectionable behaviour with a male classmate inside the school premises."

The other letter was reportedly an undertaking for the student and her mother to sign, and it stated Monali should `promise to display good behaviour' and `concentrate on her academics.' Ironically, Monali was reportedly one of the top five students in her class, and also had a strong inclination toward extra-curricular activities like compering.

So when the motherdaughter duo came home around 3 pm, they reportedly decided to go visit the victim's father at Narayana Hrudayalaya. "Monali and her mother had a talk and the latter decided to get ready, leaving both letters on the table. We believe the girl had not seen these letters until then, and happened to read both when her mother was not in the room. Overcome by despair, she locked the doors and jumped to her death," the source added.

The source also denied the mother scolding her daughter, reiterating that it was the school's letters which purportedly acted as the catalyst for the incident.

The incident has triggered outrage among the readers.Commenting on it on our website, a parent said, "My children study in the same school. We got an email yesterday night, and it looked really suspicious. It expressed sadness at the death of a child but did not divulge any details."

He said he understood "how humiliating it must have been for the mother, to be called liked this. And perhaps the poor woman in turn transferred the humilation on to her already humiliated child."

A large number of educationists and parents opine that all branches of National Public School are reportedly infamous for enforcing strict disciplinary action. "NPS is nothing but a pressure cooker with the main focus on academics and preparing students for competitive exams. They are hardly known for sporting and other extra-curricular activities," claimed one parent.

Please revert back to the post via comments by giving your opinions about the incident...thanks a million for stopping by...

On writing my second book!

Anu's Chatter......

I have been absent from my blog for quite sometime. I am sorry to have done that..I am in the middle of writing my next book that is the reason.

Needless to say I am super busy...writing is my career now and am I sharpening my talons at this blog now? I cannot particularly say as writing my book consumes most of my talent . So I am actually using all the sharpened talons..on this book ! Did not understand?  Its like growing children or a small plant! Understood? Patience , patience , patience. Thats what the writing of a book needs from the writer.

Friends two years back I had decided to finally write a book . The experience was so  cathartic, that I have  decided to write books for the rest of my life! It is my future career option!  Luckily for me my plans work. Here I am a one book old ! My first ever book ---Two Winters and 365 Days released last year. Happy to share it is doing quite well...After that I decided never to write a book because I was so, so saturated of my energies..but bingo  I am into writing the second one...A more ambitious one! What do you expect? Most of the time I am absent from the get togethers, social circuits...but I am ‘Maha happy’ for myself. Why?  Because what a hundred gossips could do to me at a party or with a friend, the writing of my book does! Did not understand? Never mind---Write a book yourself you will or  if still you don't . check this ---somewhere I had read that gossiping can heal people....Lol!

Book Reading

More excerpts from my book that I love ......its like a book reading...These lines seem to be effortless....when read..I love them....writing and reading for me is therapy....I don't know what else would I have done if not this?

“Please be my guest and make yourself comfortable.” Ananya asked, “Will you have some coffee?”
“No, no, dear! Dinner time, na.
Mrs Verma’s Ramayan started. She was a great fan of Lord Rama. She regularly watched Mahadev on Colors too.
“Ooohhh, my sweety pie, come to aunty,” she cajoled Alia.
Alia whimpered and purred in ecstasy and started to crawl on the floor faster. Ananya meanwhile glided into the kitchen in search of food. She loaded her plate with raita and pudina paratha.
The doorbell rang again.
“I heard the voices and could not control. I thought of joining in.” Mrs Mishra was at the door.
“Is your TV working?” Mrs Verma asked again from her sofa as she saw Mrs Mishra at the door.
“Yes. Yours is not? Again?” “I think mine has a problem,” informed Mrs Verma. “Please join us,” said Ananya courteously. “Have dinner.
Marri has made pudina paratha.” “Nai, nai, don’t bother. I have made nice pulav.” “It is high time we got together. I am always busy. How
are you, Mrs Mishra? Are your children home?” asked Ananya.
“Yes. As you know, they are always home from college in the afternoon only, but Rajeev went to the tennis class and has not returned still. Waiting for him. He is not taking my calls also.” That was a perennial complaint of Mrs Mishra that her children did not respond to her calls.
“Where does he go for the classes?” “To the next society. They have a good instructor.” “Come in, don’t stand near the door, come in,” shoutedMrs Verma from the sofa.

Two Winters and 365 Days...exceptional para share--

Anu's Chatter..

I always wanted to share some Yahoo moments  with my fans and readers ................the paragraph below is the peek into one of those  exceptional  writings  that just happened

“But you are everything I want in a woman . . . I just know it . . . In fact, I had fallen for you the moment you walked into my office the very first day . . . with a stained white shirt and a messy confused expression . . . only, only, I discovered it later.”“Oh! Oh! My shirt, it was . . . it was Alia,” Ananya stammered unable to talk. “Why did you hire me then?” she said, suddenly angry.“I wanted to give you a chance,” he laughed “Actually it was your speech that did the trick.”“Speech?” “Yes! The fiery speech . . . of goldmine thing?”“Oh, goldmine? I don’t remember.”“You don’t, but I do . . . I want you to give me a chance now!” he added. The street children were around them, watching amusedly. They were prompting Ananya in Hindi, “Haan bol, haan bol... ek picture mein dekha tha aisa hi scene” (Say yes, say yes . . . we have seen the same situation in a Hindi film).Ananya did not know whether to laugh or to cry standing there.“We are making a scene,” she mumbled. Vicky just laughed without budging.Ananya’s hair blew in the golden red light of the setting sun. Her heart was beating a million times louder and faster. Words were not helping her either. Street urchins were dancing around them now, singing some filmy songs.

Blogathon blog---30

Anu's Chatter...

*Dear friends today is the last blog of this blogathon ..a journey --that was full of trials and errors...it was a very eventful blogathon though I must say as I  have posted a blog every single day no matter what ....I could not keep the promise to myself a couple of times as without my knowledge the machine started acting , as I sat to pound my thoughts and it all happened in the middle of the  night! ..... today as I drum away the keys for the last time I am feeling achieved!  I am happy I could keep it alive ........

*I had so many wonderful things to share because of the festive season and there was no  time because of which I could not....  but realized it would have been much easier  if I had the access to share my thoughts in pictures if not in words ( as the best memories  in life sometimes come in pictures not in words - always) ........ unfortunately my blog does not allow pictures to be posted..

*Infact when it was created I did not even think that I will blog on it actively !

*Now after the steady increase of my followers and the constant way I turn to it  to unburden ..... I see it as an undeniable part of my  life and existence!

*So my promise to my self on this last day of blogathon is to make  it more visible, interesting, interactive and, and  accessible to pictures...! A big thank you to all for following me and  please please do not forget to post your comments! please?
